💿 BANE OF THE TALEBEARER OST IS OUT NOW ON CD & USB STICK! (AND THE ARTBOOK AS WELL!) 💽

The Bane of the Talebearer album is finally here!

A record that came from “a little side project” that I wanted to do outside of my normal (Normal being EXTREMELY RELATIVE here) musical output, which exploded in my face. The biggest thing I have ever done!

The numbers:
73 musical pieces. 30 musicians & 14 visual artists from 13 different countries all coming together to help this weird lion create this massive thing.

I am writing this a few days in advance, because when you read this, I am on the way to a convention hall in Düsseldorf for Dokomi 2026 to celebrate the release of this record and promote the project in general. If you told 14-year-old me that I would have a music/media career spanning 8 albums that all sound very different from one another in multiple disciplines, I would have laughed in your face and been like “Suuuuuure, pull the other one…”

But here we are.

I can say a lot of things, but I will keep it as concise as I can now: This project has been a joy to work on and brought me a lot of life, joy, passion and happiness through connecting with everyone who worked on it. And I can’t wait to make so many more cool things.

Does this mean I am not gonna do anything outside of Talebearer? Don’t worry. There are multiple albums in the works under the TDW name, that are completely separate from this. The Talebearer universe is now established and after years of trying to “be in bands” to keep myself fresh, I figured this is the way to go.

So even if you don’t like this fantasy stuff, there will still be loads to enjoy in the future. But right now I am just happy to live in Rezalah for a while and bask in that magic! <3

So, even with everything happening right now (recording season 2, promoting this album, running the label and also just working to make money to eat and all that) I am stopped in my tracks and realize one thing:

I am the luckiest lion in the world to be able to do all this. Thank you to everyone who supported me on this adventure. Here’s to many more crazy detours and adventures both with the Talebearer crew and with my solo music!
